Located in the heart of Burgundy’s Côte de Beaune region, the magnificent Château de Savigny-lès-Beaune extends over a 12-hectare estate, crossed by a river that once fed the moat of this ancient fortress.
The Château’s history dates back to 1340, when it was built for Duke Eudes, but was dismantled in 1478 during Louis XI’s invasion of Burgundy. Restored in the early 17th century by the Bouhier family, the château changed ownership several times, until it was acquired in 1972 by a winegrower operating an estate on the Côte de Beaune.
This exceptional site is a treasure trove for aviation, racing car and motorcycle enthusiasts. Discover one of the finest collections of Fiat Abarth prototypes, as well as one of the most important motorcycle museums in France, featuring historic racing cars, including that of the Mayor of Dijon, Chanoine Kir.
Stroll through the grounds and explore an impressive collection of planes and helicopters, including MIGS, Dassault and four Patrouille de France aircraft. The Château also houses an exhibition of thirty tractor-trailers and some twenty fire-fighting vehicles.
